with that premise in mind for a Seattle framing contractor more than 20
years ago.
After much fabric
research and field-testing, they have evolved into “Practical Working
Chaps.”
That same contractor
still wears them daily.
Intended for function - simple, easy, and incredibly lightweight - they’re made of
ripstop nylon with a urethane coating, or laminated delustered Cordura making them wind and water proof.What
they “aren’t” is the bulky armor of other chaps on the market.
Easy on and off, Lizard Legs can be worn as leg warmers in below freezing conditions
or in that early morning chill without becoming brittle or stiff.
Besides keeping workers warm and dry, they reduce wear and tear on expensive work clothes. Hose the mud or concrete off at the end of the day or throw them in the wash.
Exclusively, our chaps come with a webbing belt and dense removable kneepad, reducing the need for bulky, binding kneepads.
